A:Yes Televisions and Computer Monitors are part of the Electronics recycling program.
Q: What about VCR's DVD players and Microwave ovens?
A: No, These products are not yet covered by provincial legislation but watch for them to be in the future.
Q: Why don't you pay full price for domestic beer bottles and cans?
A: As we do not collect the deposit we are not required to refund the full deposit. Discounting the price we refund allows us to provide this service for our customers.
Q: Where can I recycle household glass (pickle, mayonaisse jars etc.)?
A: Most communities have bins for recycling these items, check with your local regional district or municipality for the location of these facilities.
Q: Where can I dispose of old paint?
A: Cowichan Valley Bottle Depot's locations in Duncan, Campbell River and Sidney all accept used paint for exchange or recycling.
Q: What are your hours?
A: As hours vary from location to location please check our locations page on this website for information related to the location in your area.
Q: Do you take car batteries?
A: No, check with local scrap metal dealers.
