Community Support

Cowichan Valley Bottle Depot’s Black Tie Charity Event is held the last Sunday of every month. Each month we support a different group. Since our first event in April 2009 we have raised more than $8000.00 in support of many local groups. In May we had the great privilege of helping the Duncan Firefighters Historical Society preserve a piece of our valleys history. The Firefighters were onsite with their 1922 Model T firetruck a  fixture at many local events including the kids parade at the Summer Festival. We appreciate all of our customers generosity and are proud to be part of such a caring, involved community. This month come out and support Big Brothers and Big Sisters of the Cowichan Valley.
